This board is for all things employment and adult-education related (please keep discussions about children's education other than Further Education and Higher Education to the Nippers board).

Whether you want to discuss the challenges facing you as the CEO of a FT 100 company or if you're heading out to the work-force again after having a family, juggling part-time work with all of your other commitments or exchanging information about employment agencies etc., here is the place to do it.

Similarly, if you want to discuss courses and educational institutions, do it here! I'm sure that amongst us we have a wealth of experience, information and support to offer. If you've ever thought: "Whilst he's on tour I'm going to..." and actually done it, then let us know WHAT, WHERE and HOW! You never know, you could inspire someone else!

I very much doubt that I will need to moderate this board with any regularity and with anything but the lightest touch, but to ensure that we all know the boundaries, here are the rules:

OpSec and PerSec: The security of our loved ones is at the forefront of our minds. Please refrain from posting operationally and personally sensitive information - any posts deemed to breach OpSec / PerSec will be edited or removed.

Personal Attacks: Banter and wind-ups are all part of service life - it would be very boring without it! - but personal "issues" should be taken off-line. In addition, any post deemed to be libelous will be edited or removed.

Swearing and 'txt spk': This site is for use by children and adults alike thus anything other than mild swearing will not be tolerated. Ref 'txt spk' it hurts my eyes and brain to read and decipher, so please don't use it! Similarly bold text and CAPITAL LETTERS TEXT is construed as shouting, so please don't!

As a final note, none of us can help but notice the high media interest in the Armed Forces these days. Please think before you post - our sister site ARRSE is quite often quoted by journalists, thus before long I expect Rear Party will be scoured for information. We are very proud of our serving family members and friends and don't like it when their honour and the fine reputations of the vast majority are besmirched, thus we have a duty not to let them down by posting things that perhaps we oughtn't!
