Hi just found this site. My son is in the navy and sailed yesterday for 6 months drives me mad when hes home on leave but feel really sad, will be first time away for his b day and xmas . Not sure if he has sailed as he lost his mobile phone on Fri night.

If you call the Mod phone line exchange, they will put you through to his ship, if it is docked.

edited to say; I do not know the number but you can call direct enq. and ask for either HMS Drake's main gate (plymouth) or Unicorn gate at HMS Nelson (portsmouth) and they will give you the number.

Hello, Hope you enjoy the site.
There are a few people on here with loved ones in the navy. Even one or two ex wrens so I am sure you will find any answers you need.

It doesn't matter which of the armed forces they are in, we are all united in the sad feeling when you have to say goodbye for a while.

Hey. my mans away for 7 weeks at the mo.. only training but its still horrid. He always looses his mobile or runs out of battery when ever he is traveling.. its so annoying! i sympathise with you. Welcome to the site it is a lovely place
