Tell your son to go and see the Padre as soon as possible. They are always a font ( ) of good advice and can sometimes put in a helpful word with your son's CO.

    Hi sarah,

I used to live on Hayling Island when I was a little nipper, we used to live right on the sea front. I have lots of fond memories haven't been back for quite a while is the fun fair still there?

Sadly, I think he is destined to stay just that He is a great, loyal and caring friend but an absolute 'player', I don't think I have ever known him to be faithful to a girl once he has got her into bed! We also have a lot of complicated mutual friends including ex's and we have kind of agreed that it isn't worth risking our friendship or theirs. Sometimes I can be depressingly sensible

So, friends it is. I just need him to give me an address now so I can get a parcel sorted out for when he arrives in Iraq

Girl_Friend, I like the glow-in-the-dark Frisbee idea, as the lads DO play Frisbee out there if/when they can. They also play cricket. However, OH tells me that it's too rocky for football.

Well, just thought I'd update you all - me 'friend' arrived in my office with absolutely no warning on Friday to say goodbye before his posting! He claims that he doesn't need me to send him anything, he just likes getting post so silly things it is (and thanks for all the ideas ).

We discussed the more than friends option but decided that it wasn't to be

He has also addmitted that he posts on Arrse and has challenged me to work out who he is so that could keep me busy for a while...

    Hello girl-friend,
The glow in the dark frisbee sounds really cool and I wish I had seen one to buy. Something else thats really neat is these Juggling balls that are actually shaped like breast-they double up as stress squeazy things. I saw them on ebay not so long ago.

Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it.

The glow in the dark frisbees were in pound strecher - I think they were actually supposed to flash rather then just glow and were vaguely UFO shaped. I'll let you know if I manage to get hold of one.

He'd love breast shaped anything so I'll have a look on e-bay (I'm a bit worried about what might happen if I search for 'breasts' on e-bay though! ).

    Many Thanks
