    New Navy Girlfriend

    Hi Everyone,

I became a Navy girlfriend on Sunday ... keeping positive so far (only been a few days). Just thought I would say hello, this seems like a great site. My OH is doing his 9 weeks training at HMS Raleigh but luckily gets to come home to me at Christmas so he is only gone for 5 weeks and 5 days... only .

    Hi MBOP

Welcome to RP. I hope you find yourself at home here. There are a fair few Navy girlfriends and wives about if you have any specific questions. I am sure 5 weeks and 5 days will fly by! I could do with mine going away for a couple of weeks so I can Christmas shop!!

Its only 3minutes to 12 so I think I am justified in saying mines a cider?? if not I will settle for a mug of tea

Mug of tea sounds good here too Dizzy.

Welcome to RP MBOP. There are a few of RN's ladies around so I'm sure you can get any specific advice you need, in the mean time get stuck in and have a look around.

    Hey MBOP

Welcome to RP, I am surrounded by loads of RN wives up at where me and the hubby are based (although he is a RM). Hope you settle in okay here, and keep yourself busy for 5 weeks and then the days will be ticked off much quicker!

    Helloooooo!

Welcome from a member of the RN wives' club There's quite a few of us hanging around here so have a good browse and feel free to ask questions - not sure we'll have the answers, but we'll try. Your first question should be...

    What's your drink?

Mine's a horse's neck and I do believe the bar is open
