    Newbie saying hi

    Hi all

Erm not really sure what to put here  - great start I'm sure!!

I'm 30 and live in Glasgow. My OH is in the Navy, he is on Ocean. He's been in the Navy for donkey's years.

We've been together for 2 years and the big discussion about marriage came up recently which I'm very pleased about. We're both widows so not thinking about a big wedding. He has said he'd leave the decision about me moving southwards entirely to me. He'd obviously prefer it if I lived where he did, but could understand if I wanted to stay put for my daughter's sake.

I have a 4 year-old daughter and my partner has a 15-year-old daughter who is at boarding school. The two girls are my world, and my OH obviously!

I've got about a million questions so apologise in advance.

    India x

    Welcome to the senior service!
My OH is RN too, been together heading towards a year and a half. Not much to add in the way of helpful advice (mine tends to pass out and start foaming at the mouth if anyone mentions the 'm' word), but thought I'd say hi!

I'm not much use for advice as my husband isn't in the Navy, but just wanted to say welcome.
