Hi Sparky and welcome. There are lots of parents on here, not least Bazzer. He will rear his head at some point no doubt. There is a parents forum which might be worth checking out. Best you get those parcel wrapping skills sorted!

    Hey Sparky

This is a good forum to keep you going - my OH has been in a sandy place and is back...well put it this way, he should have been home today but he is back very very very soon.

Best of luck to you and your son! I haven't found the last few months easy as an OH, but RP has helped, I didn't know anyone in the same situation till I found this site.

    Take care

Sancerre (Mine's a large glass of, well, Sancerre obviously!)

Welcome aboard Shipmate. Good to see the"Grey Funnel Line" represented.
Great place for support, advice and insults but as ex. I'm sure you know the ropes but we're all here for the same basic reason ie. Rear/Home support of each other as well as for those serving.
Slappers R Us are a great bunch, full of helpfull advice, anecdotes, bullshit and mostly booze.

Be warned that this is the only "nice" post I'm likely to make outside of Parents Section so make the fecking most of it.
