yet another worried and confused newbie :?

    Hi,
    Can anyone please help me?.......
My partner is currently based in Paderborn and we are wanting to marry soon and me move out this summer. How soon can i move out? How do we go about it all? I am currently a teaching assistant and would ideally like to continue this linbe of work when out there, does anyone know if this is possible? and how do I go about getting a job set up for me before I moved out. I have a 20month old daughter so I would need childcare is this available? any help is very much appreciated. Also my partner is expected to go on tour the end of next year how much training away would he have before hand? Is everyone really friendly and get along well. We were planning on moving me and my daughter out next year but I would like to settle before he went on tour. So want to move this summer. Thank you and again any help is appreciated.

Ok, how about you look in the whole of the Germany threads - your questions may have been asked before.

And the Search facility will allow you to put in "childcare Germany" etc. and will throw up a lot of threads with the same info

You will also be advised to contact the HIVE over there

Basic info (I don't know about Germany) is

If you're not married, you won't get a quarter so you'll have to find somewhere to rent privately (daughter or not)

Ask your Fiance about moving - he'll be able to give you the answers as well.

whenever you like - you just need to sort it Note my point above about married quarters - no entitlement if not hitched.
How do we go about it all?
have you tried talking to him? Get married before you go. Easy.

I am currently a teaching assistant and would ideally like to continue this linbe of work when out there, does anyone know if this is possible?Google is your friend

and how do I go about getting a job set up for me before I moved out
Try searching the site....contact schools ? Look at GOOGLE ?
. I have a 20month old daughter so I would need childcare is this available?
again, Search the site or GOOGLE

any help is very much appreciated.

Also my partner is expected to go on tour the end of next year how much training away would he have before hand?

Ask your fiance...he'll know better than we will what his unit/plans are

Is everyone really friendly and get along well.
No one can answer that, depends on you and them, really, doesn't it?

We were planning on moving me and my daughter out next year but I would like to settle before he went on tour.

So want to move this summer.

Thank you and again any help is appreciated.
