    Hello

Hi, I'm new to this, my husband suggested I might find the sight usefull, it looks really good from what I've read of it. Not sure how it all works, so please be patient as I work it all out.

We're off to Germany in July so things here are getting a bit stressfull, it's our first move with the army, would love to hear any advice about moving to Germany.

    Re: Hello

Hi Charlotte and welcome to the Rear Party. If you take a look at the Forums you will see a section devoted to Germany there, lots of ideas and contacts in there to help you. You are going to love Germany, I lived there for a number of years and loved every minute of it. It is a great community and they become an extension of your family as you have to rely on each other when you are so far from friends, family and loved ones. So pull up a sit, grab a glass of your favourite tipple and settle in for a good chat. If you do have any questions you can always PM one of the german moderators.

    Hi Charlotte, welcome to RP

The only advice I can give you about Germany is that they drive on the other side of the road....

And Paderborner Bier is better than Herforder

Tact is for people who aren't witty enough to be sarcastic.

Hiya Charlotte and welcome to RP.

I know that Sluice_Dweller is living in Germany at the moment,(when she isn't keeping Ryanair in business with her frequent flying backwards and forwards to the UK) and there is at least one other RP member there too, so lots of past and present info available about Germany, all you need to do do is ask ...........
I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Re: Hello

Welcome Charlotte! I only joined this week too so I'm also new to the site. I've found it incredibly useful though so far.

My boyfriend went out to Iraq yesterday so I'm feeling a bit lost at the moment!

Where in Germany will you be? (you can send me a private message if you don't want to post!) My boyfriend's going to be there for a month when he gets back from the sand and may be based there as of next year, we're waiting to find out at the moment. So I may well be visiting a fair bit!
