    Hi, I'm new...

    Hi everyone!

My name is Maz, I'm 22, and I'm a student of Modern Languages at Durham University (oh god, I sound like I'm introducing myself on Blind Date!)

Might be a bit premature in joining this site - my fiance isn't army yet. Well, he's in OTC while he finishes his degree, and he has his AOSB on Tuesday, hopefully looking to start RMAS next September if he passes.

We are getting married in 2 years, so that would be just after he passes out, and before moving to wherever we would be based.

Like I said, maybe I am jumping the gun on joining the site, but I've had a look round the forums, and I already feel loads better about the idea of him joining - it's really nice to know there's such a good support system available!

    so - HELLO!

madness is a good thing! am feeling slightly crazed atm - husband2B has gone down south in preparation for his AOSB, and forgot to tell me his mate is crashing in our house for the next week....... so as well as missing him, and trying to prepare for the news that will both a) make my hubby very happy and b) turn my life upside down and result in us spending long times apart, i have to deal with this retard who is being annoyingly perky in an attempt to cheer me up!

oh dear. i think i need a drink........

welcome mazzle, you're more than welcome here, you have already been warned some of the ladies, gents and animals on here are slightly mad, we're also slightly pissed most of the time! A good sense of humour and a bottle of wine is needed when you're on here!!!

Some people are like slinkies, they're really good for nothing...but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs!

well, its not badf news, but its still frustrating!

he managed tyo tear his hamstring during the physical so he's been sent home. Luckily it counts as a medical fail, so he's allowed to try again. which means in 3 months, we'll be doing this all over again!

Oh dear! Sorry to hear that. At least you get him home for abit though.
Hopefully it will be all healed up in time for his next try.
