Try them both on tonight! You'll know what you feel good in when you get them on.

    Have fun tomorrow!

    Re: Coping with Loneliness

Keeping busy as many have said, is by far the best way. If you can find something that you can take with you when you move, it will be much easier.

If you're in it for the long haul, then finding something early on that you can focus on, work at and improve - will really help. If you don't have a career or aren't that way inclined, then choose a skill you've always wanted to learn. I started making jewelry and now sell it faster than I can make it. I gave up on the career and education several postings ago because no amount of effort could balance the 10 day notice to move. I have found solace in things such as riding, piano and making jewelry. I also trained as an aerobics instructor a while ago and it's a brilliant way to fill the evenings as there always seems to be a shortage of classes where ever you go. It's also a great way to fund the things that are just fun but cost to much to justify.

Friends are vital, but if they are your whole support or distraction, you will break your heart every time you move. The internet and facebook keep the world a small place, but it's the first 2 months of any posting that are the most difficult so if your coping strategy is something you can do by yourself (oo-er) then you'll find it easier.

If all else fails, go on line and look for sites showing gaffs made by GW Bush or Prince Phillip, always good for a chuckle.

In an effort to save my sanity, I decided missing them when they're away is far better than having them get on your nerves when they're home.

    Hey hun

For me I just kept as busy as possible, I still struggle at weekends so to combate this I write a list of stuff I really really should get done, then through the weekend I tick them off and you feel positive about it and it takes your mind off missing them. I have visited old friends and new ones, thrown myself into my work, spent more time with the family and also go the gym as much as possible.. although slacking lately.. opps!!!
For next years tour I am taking up Reflexology as my local college is running a course,, OH wasn't too impressed with this new idea but he won't be here .. so its perfect timing to go off and do it!!!!
I just think, look to the future, focus on when your next seeing him and before you know it time will fly by!!
