*thinking hard* outside the wire they aren't bad if I rightly remember...not big, and it does look like a badly disguised MQ patch *grin*, but its quiet.

I think someone on here is there at the moment....and will fill you in more.

Giz a shout when you hit here!

I Live in Lisburn MQ's. Probably the best area which is called West Park. They are Bungalows & quite nice!! Keep away from Pond Park if you can as it's awful!! Hope this helps.

No 4 Bed Bungalows, the only 4 bed houses are on Camp, Packard Road!! There are also a few where 2 houses have been knocked into one for very large families. I think it's 6 bedrooms in total. Hope this helps.

The only MQ I went into in Lisburn belonged to a really nice lady who was teaching me German. She was married to a v. high ranking officer so due to the size of it, I'm not sure it was a true example of the normal MQ's there.

    Twas very nice though

This has nothing to do with anything, but I completely misread the title of this thread as "Lesbian MQs."

Maybe I ought to switch the cava with a ginger ale before I get the taxi.

    Re: Lisburn MQ's?

me and my hubby are currently living in Westpark, its a 3 bedroomed bungalow. Beautiful outside and massive! Gardens depend on where your based. if you live towards the back like me our garden is huge! enough for 3 houses! but down side is they are slightly up gradient!
You will prob find it diffcult to get bigger houses unless yourself or hubby are higher ranks. Its usually officers that live on the camp itself. Other streets are harmony hill which is 4 bedroomed but first come first serve and if you have 2 kids they will want you to explain why you want one. as would normally offer you a 3 bed. other houses are mountview drive/park skyline drive/gardens/ oakridge. Frm top of my head. They are all 3 bedrooms, but they have small gardens. they are all in the same area, but westpark is at the other side of town near tesco. I would say westpark is the best street to get. I am moving in Jan, as hubby got posting to pirbright. I wasnt keen on the area, felt unsafe and unhappy but the house was super, cant fault it! xx
