Good people of rear party. :toothy4:

This is a forum for the more mature rear party member - male and female.

A place to discuss issues that are more the topics of people with an abundance of life experiences.

It goes without saying that I will not allow any swearing, text speak and handbag bashing .

I will moderate this forum very heavily and move and delete any inappropriate posts to ensure that it stays ontrack.

However, I want to say welcome to you, come in and have a cup of tea and a scone and cake. If you really really want cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off I will send one of the young whippersnappers - like Irish Doris - into the kitchen to make some for you.

I think I may put that idea into practise next year, that or start counting backwards although the bratlings are convinced I was 17 today

Maybe you should take advice from Beebs on the counting backwards bit. She assures me she has been doing it for years and years and years .......

I love scones and cakes etc so can i join too. Oh and i used to have my own tearoom which i really really miss xx

I am told it was a close call Tinkers (and to be honest my teenage dirtbag often calls me a witch, she thinks I can't hear her, I think its witch anyways................)

Mmmmmm, caaaaaaaake!!! I can only dream! I've been such a good girl recently (half a stone and counting! ) but I may have to give in to temptation soon...................!

Any chocolate biscuits allowed - now I am a mature person (won't tell you how many times I have been 21 and a bit) a bit of indulgence should be allowed - or is it strawberry jam and clotted tea with those scones.
