    How to climb a mountian???

    Dear all,

Ok the paper work has been signed and the climb to Everest has been put back till September, which gives me more time to train and raise more money for SSAFA!

I have been given the longest training programme in the world which I have to be honest scares the SH* T out of me. But deep down I know its to late to back out now…

Knowing that some of you have to be very fit for your jobs I wondered if any of you had some good tips, (or your OH’s do) for training? Although it’s a year away I already have butterflies in my tummy!!!

Wowee!! Good for you! That is completely amazing! I am stuffing a kit kat into my mouth as I write this so personally don't have too many training tips! lol! But, my boyfriend did an Ironman this summer - which is nothing compared to what you're doing but required pretty intensive training all the same. The thing for him was bulding up to doing long endurance fitness, so that he could keep on going an not flake out. Obviously as an Ironman is swim, bike, run, there were a lot of 100 mile bike rides and dawn swims in lakes and pounding the pavements. Those were the diciplines he needed but they would probably do wonders for your endurance and core fitness too. Masses of luck! xx

Wow, good for you hun. Sounds fantastic. Haven't got any training tips (could have used them for my trip to cuba tho ) but wishing you all the best.

Are you setting up a justgiving website or anything? Would love to sponsor you.

    Good luck x

First of all you have to improve your strength for that its not child play to climb on Mountian. So enhance your physical ability first then think about it.

To climb on the mountain you need to be prepare mentally and it needs some practice. Because strength is very essential thing to climb on the mountain and physical fitness too.

Sorry some of these 'spammers' are very funny - who'd have thought you need to prepare and practise climbing a mountain?!
