    Tidworth/Southampton

    Hi all,
My OH is based in Tidders, and I live in Southamton. He stays on camp during the week, and then comes down here on weekends (or sometimes we go there just for a change of scenery lol).

Anyway, I've not met ANY other wives or girlfriends, and none of my friends have partners in the Military, so I'd really like to get to know some people in my area, especially with deployment coming up next month ...

    Anyone around here?

    Kx

    Between houses...

I'm between houses, staying with my brother in Wiltshire, but when I find a place, I'll be in the Hampshire area, OH will be in Pompey (for work) and living, hopefully for the first time, with me if I've managed to find a commutable place.

So not really round Southampton at all, but looking to live around the Tidworth -> Basingstoke area (imagine a straight line between them and somewhere there is where I hope to be!)
Nothing to see here, move on by....

Have sent a text for you and it has also occurred to me that RM_WAG now that she has the job might be looking at houses in or around those areas

Feisty one - I am very familiar with all those areas, and they're not far from here at all really, will hopefully see you around

S_T - Thank you so much, that's great Also, yes, RM_WAG did mention looking around Pomey/Taunton and everywhere in between, so that might be around here somewhere too

Is there not an RP meet planned soon too? Check out the thread An update from the Cellar, I think that's the one. it's in London I think but a lot of people seem to travel from the Hampshire way.

(i honestly am not avoiding doing housework by sitting on RP, honestly, nope, not me, wouldn't do that!)

I too am in the area - I work full time with 2 kiddies so not much spare time, but happy to lend an ear if needed. I work out of Southampton a fair bit too.

Mrs_M - I work full time and have a 4yr old son, so not got loads of time on my hands either! Will be starting my new job in Eastleigh in the next week or so, but would love a coffee and a chat sometime, if you're up for it? x

I am not *in* the area, but might be leaving it in the not too distant future.

    Kind of...yes!

My family will still be in Soton for a while after we buy elsewhere. Assuming the house sells that is. I hate selling houses, just a shame I love buying them....ha ha

Ooh, buying is so exciting!! We're looking to buy when he gets back from Afghan, it's loads of fun Selling, on the other hand, not so much :-/ Like at the moment, I want a new car, but got to sell mine first ... new car = fun, selling old one = not fun, taking too damn long, and I just want my new one now!! Not that I'm impatient or anything! Lol

Now looking at somewhere in a triangle between Taunton, Fareham and Lympstone ( I know that's a big triangle - but it's a lot smaller than the one that had half of europe in it!)
I am down Pompey way at least once a month and will in July be bascially living in Fareham/POmpey and from August be around that area generally - feel free to PM me if that's any use to you!!xx

Yup we're on half term next week. Is there anywhere down there that has a soft play area? I don't really know the place that well
