    Odd posters...

Has anyone else noticed we're currently getting a few random people posting an average of 4 posts on Health & Beauty threads and nothing else?

Just had one that resurected a 5 year old thread to give pointless advice seeing as the girl who started it no longer posts here.

I have noticed a few odd (read, dull, boring, annoying) posts yes. In H&B you say? I have to be more observant. Are they new spam posts? If so just notify the MODs and they will get rid of them quicker than a Heffner girlfriend on the eve of a new blonds 18th birthday!

They're sarky bloody sods too. Spamming in site admin and threads such as 'can we remove this spam please?'!

They're not on my forums I'm afraid so I can't ditch it.

See, I thought this was going to be a thread about odd posters as in the things you see stuck up on walls. My mind works in mysterious ways sometimes. I won't even begin to tell you what I thought when I saw the title of Scuba's 'beaded necklace' thread. Note to self. Read things more carefully in future!

Erm....that was me MOVING them to site admin you mong its the evidence thread so the CO's can ban em

Editted to add...I have my beady eye on the H&B ones, I leave them til they actually do something wrong ie link to dodgy threads, then I shift them to admin and evidence to be hung drawn and quartered

Durrrrr! Mind you, I prefer the theory that the spam-tastic posters had a bit of a sense of humour!

They're all got the same pattern to them so they're sticking out a mile to me. They'll get bored and move on somewhere else soon.

I thought that too BB. Maybe that's the way to spot the little blighters.

Daft response to a subject, resurrection of long-dead thread, dodgy English, and then a strange signature that morphs into an advert in a later posting.

Funnily enough I considered referring to the fact its a pearl necklace in the title then thought better of it.....does that mean we're a bunch of dirty minded scutters?

And yup the newbies posting in H&B are weird and clearly spammers working up to the sig morph. Fingers crossed they'll get bored soon.
Heaven wont have me, hell is scared I'll take over. Time for the pub!

On the move this weekend. Not sure yet where I'm going or when I'll get there.....hope theres enough vodka in the car.
