Are you in the city itself or outside in Hollywood or Lisburn? Hopefully your not finding it too scary - but what kind of information would you like specifically?

Belfast is great lots to do great social life and fantastic shopping (although some places are out of bounds best to check as this list can change quite regularly!) Dont be put off by the news and the reputation of Belfast and NI - just be sensible about your personal security and you will be fine. Belfast is no different from any other major city in the UK.

The weather has been great for the last while and you should be able to get out and explore!

Welcome to the site also by the way!

    Morning!

Just moving this into the NI part of the forum as there "might" be some posts there that will help. (It's under the Housing Information Centre - Rosyth. I don't actually agree with the way the MoD/DHE have re-issued the HICs around the country as they make little or no sense to me but who am I to judge? )

There are a fair few posts ref. NI around - I'll unlock a few more whilst I get the chance (still moving things over) to see if there's anything of help.

The Northern Wig and Cafe Vaudaville (prob spelt wrong) are fantastic places to party. As is Ollies. The new shopping centre - Victoria Square is great. Be sensible and stay away from bad areas (as with everywhere) and you'll be just fine.
