You're absolutely right, it shouldn't make any difference. I should think that the majority of the longer standing posters know exactly who you are, I certainly did. I just don't see why you felt the need to flex your muscles to be honest.

Because I can think of some of the threads I read on my first day that were just for laughs that almost had me running for the hills. Why would courtesy scare people off when the have a moan thread or I&B or the pregnancy horror stories one (ack, my brain still needs bleaching from that) didn't scare them off? Have you heard about it? It's an awesome film. I think it will get an Oscar. If you are in the USA you might have heard about it - it's about these US marines in the Korengal in Afg getting pounded but it's amazing. So watchable and so sad and yet gripping. It's like Band of Brothers but it's a documentary.
It's based on a book by War, Sebastian Junger (The Perfect Storm) he was embedded with them.
