    Shoes glorious shoes

I am not a shoe type of person! I live in my trainers and am generally quite happy that way BUT the mess do is rapidly approaching and needs must!

The dress is black and pink so I'm thinking black, silver or pink shoes will work. I want the pic they take so heels are a MUST I am 5'2 while Mr Tree is 6ft!

I've no idea where to start looking for them. They have to be 'reasonably' priced as I know i won't wear them often so spending a fortune on them is not something I want to do.

Anyone know any great shops/websites to aid me in my quest?

have you looked on e-bay? if there is a pair of shoes in a make you know fit you in your size you could get a bargain. Otherwise should be some "mid season" sales on in Debenhams, House of Fraser etc. Clarks do some nice shoes as well nowadays
    Happy hunting

I am currently going through 30 pages of size 3 shoes on ebay lol mr tree has escaped to the bath just to get away from being asked 'what about these' and having to pretend he's interested!

If you go for pink, don't buy online if you don't have time to return them and get something else as in my experience the colour that is shown in the picture is rarely the colour as it is in real life and you'll be risking two clashing shades.

I have size 2 1/2 - 3 feet and it's a bugger finding heeled shoes that fit as for some bizarre reason, most seem to start at a size 4. Possibly cos size 3 is still classed as a kids size and is VAT free, messing up the pricing.

I love Schuh but they can be a bit pricey (although if you find the shoes you want in store, have a look on ebay for them as they have a shop on there selling slight seconds). M&S are surprisingly good for titchy feet.

Most comfortable pair of heels I have ever bought were £16 quid from Peacocks. They're silver, 3 inch heels and I've worn them for most evening do's for 4 years now. So don't restrict yourself to the posh shops cos you may be surprised.

Oooh they're really nice and what a price! Not certain about the peep toe. I wore silver peep toes on my wedding day and felt like my toe was going to drop off at the end of the meal!

Have you tried barratts online. My sister in law loves the heels on there. And they do size 3

oooooooh nice dress! may be safest to go with black satin shoes and matching handbag - and a pashmina/stole thing as well. As someone said pink comes in MANY different shades and if you get the wrong shade it wouldn't work (I am a pink she addict so I know what I'm talking about)

They're nice. And cos you've gone for the black you'll be able to wear them again which is always a bonus
