    Re: Join the PatchPedia Project!

I wasn't really sure where to post this, so hopefully here is the right place.

I was just looking for info on Bassingbourn...I found the page here:

    http://www.rearparty.co.uk/patchpedi...p/Bassingbourn

And damn near had a heart attack because it says it's up north, which was not what whatshisface told me! I've double and triple checked and it is definitely near Cambridge, and not Catterick. I know I could edit it all myself but I don't actually know anything about Bassingbourn having never lived there, so probably best for someone in the know to do it...just thought I'd point it out.

Right - you spotted the "deliberate" mistake Removed information from Bassingbourn as it was erroneous, apart from the map on the page.

So it needs filled -any takers?!

I'm on board. Bottom line - a good wiki is worth its (metaphysical) weight in gold so it's completely worth getting stuck into and - critically - keeping it going, up-to-date and accurate.

Don't worry about looking like a mong - doesn't stop me, after all!

(Oh, and looks like a good site!)

Where would one put things to do in/around the area of such locations?

As everyone knows, I'm not military but I spent 15 years of my life living 10 minutes drive from Warcop Camp in Cumbria so know of things to do in/around the area.

I also just spent a week in Richmond with my 2-year-old and found some good and fun things to do with said monster that are within a half-hour of Catterick.

Just look up Catterick and then edit the "shopping" or whatever part it is. Very easy to do (there's a video tutorial now on the PatchPedia main page which should help? )
