    Me again

Sorry I know you must all be getting sick of my constant picking of brains.

Our disturbance allowance wasn't processed in time (had to be in by 16th Jan to get it on payday but couldn't be applied for on JPA until after that date.....go figure!) so we now won't be getting it until 8 days after we move.

We have been told that an EPIC payment can be issued but this has to go up to the CO to be approved and we have to write a list of what we need the money for.

I've been told to make the list as realistic as possibly to stand a better chance of being allowed more money. I've also been told that things like quarter cleaning will be classed as personal preference not a neccesity, so if the CO is in a bad mood he will tell us we can ram that.

We've never moved cross country like this so I don't kno exactly what we do need. So far i have:

    Big tree's new uniform (Necessity)
Fuel to get to new quarter (pp? or n?)
    Cooker cleaning (pp)
Caret cleaning (i'm not sure on this one, I have a dog so DE say we must have the carpets rofessionally cleaned but quarter cleaning is a PP??)
    Post redirection (??)

I know there is a lot more I haven't thought of but my stress levels are now too high to think with any kind of clarity, so if anyone can add to my list or even suggest what would be classed as PP or neccessity that would be greatly appreciated.

Mr TLC used to be a Welfare/PSAo/RAO bod so I am sure he has some ideas of what to do and write etc., I won't have his reply though until at least 10pm tonight (sorry about that).

    TLC x

Thank you TLC that will be much appreciated. At this moment in time I would quite happily tell the CO to shove his decisions where the sun don't shine and just figure out a way to make the money we have stretch a hell of a lot further so it will probably take Mr Tree until at least 10pm to talk me out of my stubborness.

Add in the (estimated I suppose) final payments to your phone and energy providers. That's included in your disturbance allowance and should be a sizeable chunk.

Problem is I don't have any. I pay monthly for my energy and the company is just transferring any balance over to the new property so i just continue to pay my monthly amount. Same with the phone, they've just transferred everything over without any cost whatsoever. Only one that might charge me are Sky.

Glad my lack of work could be put to good use , getting bored of viewing houses on-line (plus that's a little more obvious!)
