Had this fantastic reply written up and it disappeared grrrrr............

It's a hilly area, you have 3 schools in the area, the local primary school would be a 10-15 min walk from where you are. You have a family center around the corner from your road. There is a sports center about a 20 min walk from your location, you're literally down the road from bovisands, which is brilliant for the kids in the summer. There are regular buses that run from the estate. Parking wise, pot luck really, either you have a 1 car driveway or you'll end up parking on the road.

As for commuting to the dockyard, it's an arse, driving or bus, your OH will have to leave a good hour and a half (guessing), as the traffic is a b*tch to get through plymouth. If the houses are laid out like my bessie mates in that area, the rooms are a fair size, 2 double ish rooms and a box room, front room, dining room and kitchen. Gardens aren't massive but i suppose if it's big enough to keep the kids occupied with toys, it ain't an issue

TBH, it's in a nicer area, for a patch, family orientated, lots of wooded areas/woodland, so if you have a dog, it's fantastic to take a long walk about.

This is all from memory though, I'm sure someone who knows the area alot better, will be along x

There is some good news though as the roadworks over the Laira Bridge are almost done. That will make it a lot easier to get into Plymouth!
