    Married Accom Churchill estate Faslane

Does anyone have any experience of Churchill in Helensburgh? I am looking for temporary accomodation while my husband is in Faslane and I think we may be able to get a MQ for a few weeks but I know nothing about the place. Anyone know anything?

    Thanks

You won't be able to get an MQ for a few weeks. I am happy to be corrected but as far as I know you've got to be there for a minimum 6 months.

Thanks for the response, luckily we have been offered one by the accomodation office for the time that we need one. My main query really is what is the estate like? I am anxious to move there with 2 boys under 2 unless its family friendly etc. (Otherwise we may try to get a holiday cottage)

    Cheers

Ahh fair enough. I can't help with that specific estate but if it's any help to you I haven't lived on a patch yet that hasn't been family friendly. I guess it depends on what exactly you're looking for when you say family friendly. There is usually always a park of some form not too far away from quarters and they are rarely on a busy road.

Have a look on patchpedia and see if anyone has put any info that might help you up there. Also if you have a postcode for the general area of the quarters google maps and street view might give a rough idea of what the houses and roads are like.

Sorry I can't offer any personal experience of the place. Hopefully someone will be able to.
