    Furniture

We will be moving into our 1st married qtr tomorrow, I called the housing people this afternoon as there isn't any furniture in yet - (we dont have our own anymore so gotta use army issue for now).
The lady at the office said it will go in sometime tomorrow as they dont have the key.
Is this the norm? we are being marched in early afternoon.

Im all excited mind you regardless if furniture in or not by the time we get there.
Im stressing bout moving the cats bless them :?

    Thanks

    Re: Furniture

We had some Army furniture when we first got married, and it turned up just as we were doing our march in, which was good as then I got to get them to put it all exactly where I wanted rather than have to mess about moving it around later.

    Hope it goes well

I heard a nasty rumour that in some places the stuff they have now isn't actually G-Plan anymore. Who'd have thunk it eh?!

Was the furniture really G Plan in MQs - G Plan used to be really posh when I was growing up!! Is it not held in such high regard with you lot then?

    Re: Furniture

We erm acquired a few pieces of army furniture over the years. It's not the prettiest to look at but ferk me it is built to last.

I'd be lost without the bookcase. Much better than the Billy bookcase from Ikea.

    Enjoy christening every room, Dot

Christening every room......oh what a different meaning that has when you don't have kids My idea of every room being christened now means the baby has thrown up in them all!
    Enjoy your house Dot xx
