Thread: info needed on where we stand pls

atm hubby is a qualified chef and will be joining as chef,
at the careers office when on his interview he was told he could fast track as he has the qualifictions already and will only have to do a few weeks of module 1 and will just need to do module 2 so will be sent from phase 1 to his unit till the other recuits are at the same stage as he is,
Q is will the kids and i be able to move with him then or will we have to wait till he has finish phase 2 as we would have to if he was not qualified?

I would say that if your OH is going to be posted somewhere for more than 6 months then you'll get your SFA. That's me being logical and using the usual rules and regs. It might be different for recruits. Get him to speak to the careers office and ask them to confirm for you.

when I joined the RAF there were a couple of guys there that were already married, and when they went onto phase 2 which was 9 months - 1 year for them, they were allocated a MQ. You'll need to get him to look into it once he's started his training.
