    Moon City, Rhu, Scotland?

    Prompted by the Evil one.....

    Afternoon,

Can anyone give me some information about Moon City, Rhu?

Just want to know the state of the quarters and what to expect. Mr GS is a Lt Cdr but we've got no children so expecting the smallest quarter (quite rightly) if there's a shortage up there. I've been told that the houses were designed for Cyprus originally, flat roofs, single skinned etc but have no idea if my leg is being pulled (probably!).

Any info/photos no matter how bad would be very welcome. I've looked on Google Earth but a satellite view doesn't tell me a great deal and a search of the forums hasn't produced anything either.

    Many thanks
    GS

My last experience of said accommodation was in Winter 2002 when the wind howled and the rain fell horizontally. It wasn't a pleasant experience! It wasn't basic, but it wasn't brilliant either.

I really hope the place inside has improved, because the outside hadn't when I dropped in up the road last August.
