    Married quarters Birmingham.

    Howdo.
I'm planning on getting married next year and hoping to move into married quarters. I'm out of my area this week so can't get into ask but keen to provide my better half with some info if possible. Does anybody know what entitlement we would have in terms of house size as we have two girls aged 13 and ten. Are they entitled to a bedroom each, ie a three bedroom house or can I look forward to one child disposing of the other should they end up sharing a bedroom

    Many Thanks

Not sure about entitlements but I have friends who were put in to SSFA rather than a Qtr when they were recently posted to the Brum area, they said the house they were given was far bigger than any MQ they'd ever seen and would have been technically above their entitlement as a couple with no children - but equally I dont know where you're posted/where they're posted so could well be talking utter carp.

    Hello,

As far as I know there are no SFA in Birmingham (I'm in the next Reg unit near by) they are all privately rented as and when required. Also led to believe that they are using some SFA at Lichfield for those at Selly Oak......

You will be entitled to a 3 bed house as one one your children is over 12(regardless that they are both girls)

You should contact Caroline at the HIVE in Birmingham she will be able to let you know what the score is with regards to where everyone is being housed.

They said it could'nt be done, so I did'nt do it
