    Re: MQs in Bordon

Hiya, I am in Bordon at the moment and the MQ's are all ok. There are three patches in total, with the patch with Garth Close in being the cheapest. The other 2 patches pay about 350 rent pm but the garth side pay 180 pm. Garth is closer to the school and has the kids park. It also has maisonettes which are the same size as the houses. All the gardens in Bordon are fairly small with garth having some of the strangest looking as they slope down but it really is what you makw it and I have to say that I really like it here. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots of woodland and picnic areas, if you have a dog then you will see that the woods are huge and an excellent area to walk them in. We have a Tesco, Lidl's, Wilkos, Somerfield and an array of small private shops 10 minutes walk away. You will also get free use of the gym. Depending on which batallion you are being stationed with, welfare has a lot to offer, often putting on ladies nights and every thursday there is a coffee morning that everyone is welcome to at Martinique house. There is also a lovely cafe/greasy spoon attached to Martinique house which is dirt cheap. I hope you like it here! Good luck x
