Corsham/Devizes

Hi,
My Husband is being posted to Corsham soon, so i was wondering if anyone had any idea what the housing is like in theese areas?

We will need a 4 bed (4 kids) but the housing people say they are really rare and they only have 1 available atm so may need to rent privatley :evil: so where seems nice, with good schools etc.

Also, how soon will we know if we can have an sfa or need to rent? The housing form was faxed yesterday and posted today, As Husband is due to start work in about 10 weeks, (its been a nightmare getting the nessecary info just to know we are posted, let alone someone to sign the forms) I am becoming a little nervous.

Doesnt help that DD has her SATS 3 weeks after Husband starts, so we would like her to settle into a new school as soon as possible.

Cant help you on the accomodation but dont worry about your daughter's SATs...not worth the paper they are written in!!

Devizes is actually a nice wee area, much better than the sh/hole that is Swindon 8O There's a fabby butcher in Devizes, and various other little places to visit. And as you're in a good location for motorways etc. there are loads of lovely areas to visit within an hour's distance , or less.

Come to Salisbury a much nicer class of conehead to be found here

Ive been given an SFA, that was bloomin quick, hubby faxed it on wed and this morning we had the letter telling us the new address.

now i have about 46 days to sort my life, the house and my mob out.
