1st Year wedding anniversary present for under £8
Right then - hubby and I have been married for approaching a year and are shortly to celebrate our paper wedding anniversary.
Thing is, we're not big into huge pressies (we didn't buy each other a wedding present) so although we want to mark the occasion, we don't want to spend lots.
We got married on 8/8 so have decided to have a max spend of £8 which seemed like a really great idea... at the time. Now I'm stuck.
So, what do I get him for £8 that fits in with the 'paper' theme but is a bit special??

A photograph?
A poster of someone/thing he likes?
A five pound note?"Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion"

8 lottery tickets :-)

My best friend bought us a calendar for our 1st wedding anniversary. It was such a brilliant idea as it effectively ended up documenting year two. I actually can't remember what Mr. H and I bought each other but I still treasure that!

This one's easy. 8/8 is a certain someone's birthday so what you could do is both buy a 21 again (and again, and again, and again) birthday card and send it to meeeeeee!
Alternatively, how about having a little photobook made up of the first year of your marriage so he can take it away on tours/exercise/holiday as a reminder. I did that for Mr B when he buggered off to Afghanistan for a while and he really appreciated it. So did every Afghan who wandered into his office. Note to self, don't include bikini shots, no matter how innocent.

I like the photo book idea...
Random ideas...
A book (Karma Sutra and tell him you'll see how many you've done already)
See if you can find some of the caricature artists that sit on the street, usually some out when the sun comes out, take a photo of you both on your wedding day and get him/her to drawn it. (no idea if this fits into the £8 category)
Origami book and some paper... take paper gifts to the extreme!Nothing to see here, move on by....

The lottery ticket idea sucks! Need something with a tad more thought behind it me thinks. A book made from a wedding picture of you guys, yes, you can do it home made, something like that

A divorce? With some luck and a good lawyer it won't cost you anything and you may even make a few quid!!
If I make a statement, but a women does not hear it, am I still wrong?
