    Question about MQ's

    Aloha!

Maybe I should have stuck this in Patch and Pads ...

... anyway! When applying for a MQ can anyone tell me what I should expect space wise? I am sure all areas are different but in terms of bedrooms, with 2 miniLadies, is it likely we'll get a 2 bedroomed and it be expected they share? Or might we get a 3 bed?

    Re: Question about MQ's

It depends on location and availability. Your entitlement is 2 beds, but you are likely (not definitely!) to get a 3 bed. Sizes vary from location to location, as does quality.

And yes, Patch and Pads would have been a better place!

    Re: Question about MQ's

JSP 464 says you are entitled to a 3 bed BUT if 3 bed (type C )are in short supply and both your kids are under 5 you will be given a 2 bed (type D). Have attached link to the JSP page for your info. Just been through this myself as my 2 girls are 6 months and 2 1/2 and we are in a 3 bed already which was above entitlement when we moved in as we only had one child but now its OK and as we are in a 3 bed they are going o do their bestest to get us another 3 bed but where we are off to houses are in v short supply so we may have to get bunk cots lol. Or buy one of those huge huts for the back garden for the hubby lol.

    Re: Question about MQ's

Thanks for clearing that up! It's really appreciated as always.

Ta Legs - thought as much

Susiesoo I hope you get the size you're after. I am currently in a teensy 2 bed house and my children share a room with 2 toddler beds. You may want to consider a toddler bed for your eldest, takes up a lot less space!

edited to say : Susie - alternatively the hut in the garden sounds like a plan but I'm sure they're called kennels!! xx

Got a toddler bed and a cot so will make do. Been told this afternoon we are getting a 3 bed and will get address tomorrow as its between 4 houses. I think they must be tossing a coin or something to decide........hubby jokingly said can you make sure this one doesnt have a green carpet? He got no answer but i bet we now get a green carpet lol.

I can only dream of a green carpet. This is my 9th quarter and it's been blue every time. I bloody hate blue and despise Army carpet blue with a passion that consumes me!

I have a cream carpet in every flipping room! It is also the thinnest carpet in the world, they forgot the underlay, on concrete floors!!

    Re: Question about MQ's

My bottle green carpet does not hide the muck from a baby who brings back milk and a toddler who not only spills my tea but likes to mash weetabix in to it. I'm just hoping they are replacing it when we move!

I've changed my name from Susiesoo incase in confussing anyone by the way......
