Anyone been married on camp before????????

Loads of people have been married at Tidworth Garrison Church. My sons were christened there!
Wouldn't imagine it to be a problem speak to the Padre.

do u think there would be any problems with the other person being a divorcee??? sorry - but finding a church proving quite difficult

The Bishop has to give his consent to a divorcee marrying in church. It is also dependent upon the reasons for the first marriage breaking down (or certainly was when we married). The vicar/padre will also discuss all this with you so be prepared for some interesting questions! I am only talking about C of E as thats all I have experience of. I would suggest chatting to the padre and he will go through the choice of services open to you.

I got married on camp at Henlow, it was just like any other marriage service. I have to say it's a dame site cheaper, you only have to pay the parish fees. cost us £285.

i lived in the second house down from the church! I nearly knocked it down when my pop was TRYING to teach me to drive on the parade square! Some beggar kept hiding my brake pedal

Oh and ON topic, i got married off camp but had reception at the Sgt's Mess and it was ACE! Shame about the groom 8O
