OH far far away for a long time - no probs.

Go for a long drive - no oil in car, car making funny noise. I top the oil up, car still makes noise.

Next day, start car, no noise, drive away and go for a 20 mile walk, get back, car won't start. AA man (having nearly combusted trying not to laugh) locks and unlocks the car, and tells me it's the immobiliser that's screwed.

Today, get in car, drive to uni, see that the chuffing thermostat is bouncing up and down, up and down, hot to cold, hot to cold!

WHY???!!! Why can't it break down when he's here??!! I CANNOT manage without a bloody car - I live in the middle of nowhere!

Ok I know the two youngest are under 10 so are not prority for having their own room, but seeing as it's been six months and they are still only averaging to sleep between 11pm and 7am and i'm on even less sleep I still think we should be entilted to another bedroom. Don't worry the only reason I didn't argue on the phone was because my husband was on the other phone ringing me for the second time from the sandy place so I had more important issues, but tomorrow is a new day and I will be there first thing, I will not go down without a fight.
