    e-bluey mail.

Does anyone use them on a regular basis, and are they any good?

Just been reading about it and although it does look and sound like a good idea, quite often, these things SOUND like a good idea, but don't actually work.

I had to read that back to myself, as it sounded arse about face.

I use them when ever anyone I know is in on their 'hols' - the e-blueys get there really quickly but using my husbands words, its nice to get proper hand written ones too because they feel more personal! xx

I've sent them and depending on what time I've sent them, they've got there the next day or the day after. Really fast compared to normal blueys but yes... Oh likes hand written ones as well cos they're more personal

I use them and hand written ones as well, however, as my OH is on a ship, it only gets to them when they get a mail drop, but he loved the fact he got them, including some photo ones.

Because I work long hours, but on a computer, it's a lot easier for me to send one, rather than having to get to the post office, so he gets more mail that way!
Nothing to see here, move on by....

I didn't use them when my hubby was on ship but used them all the time when he was in the sandpit. When he was on the main base there he got them within 24 hours. X

I've used e-blueys, when OH was on exercise in Canada. They only got them when they returned to base (about once a week or so) as they were out in the field most of the time, but he loved getting them, and I could attach a picture to every one which was great fun too.

Only advice - keep them to one page (i.e. if you have more to say, start a new one) as they are printed a page at a time, and even though they'll say 'page # of #' he received some multi-page ones where he got say pages 2 and 4 but not the others! Also, type up what you want in another programme (like Notepad or Word or similar) and only open the e-bluey webpage when you have your content ready to copy and paste, because it can time out and then you lose everything you've written!

I love e-blueys! when the OH was away I was working on the house so I would take a picture of the work I was doing and write him the ebluey all about it. So he can see all the little jobs I was doing at home. He tried to do the same for me and I think it is something really nice for both of us.

He liked the hand written ones but he prefered ebluey because he would get them so much faster and he could call and talk to me about what I had written in them.
All the cool kids have a signature but I have nothing witty or profound to say.

I love e-blueys too, so much quicker than normal blueys but I still send the hand written ones aswell. My OH loves getting any sort of mail. And he occasionally remembers to send some back!

I used it when my OH was away. They're really good, I used to add the odd photo- usually of a big mac and fries just to wind him up!!!

They're quick and easy and I tended to just send quick little notes and updates and save the more in depth stuff for handwritten blueys which didn't matter if he received them 3 weeks later x

I use them all the time when mine is away, they are very easy to use and very quick too (depending on where he is). It also means I can rattle them off whilst I am at work and nobody knows what I am doing!!!!

When a mate was chasing penguins in FI I would send at least 30 eblueys a day to her!
They've been around for years and prove to be the fastest means of mail.

I also love e-blueys, ok so not as personal as the good old hand written ones.
I sent a photo of his new born daughter and his 2 year old every day and he loved it!

Another vote for eblueys here! Great for the photo's, and now smallest Gonzo is at the drawing stage I get her to do "hand drawn" ones too.

Slightly off topic, I was told at a deployed families coffee morning that the last posting day for things to the sandpit was Dec 2nd, but presents are probably best sent before that in case it gets busy or Brize has lots of snow!

Definitely send Xmas presents earlier than the 2nd. I speak from experience!
