Thread: RP User - Theraputic Gardening

We've been approached by a long time RP user who has asked us to promote some work she is doing with Combat Stress. Specifically she is creating a garden for those affected by Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that will be displayed at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this summer and then moved to Combat Stress's main treatment centre at Tyrwhitt House in Leatherhead.

Okay so I have come out of the closet in an endeavour to get this garden up and running!! We now have a Just Giving Page which is taking donations, and we are taking money whereever and however we can to help this garden become a reality (no I am too old for that game - I have considered it!!).

Seriously good news! We have raised enough money through the justgiving page and private donations to take the garden to Hampton Court - so so exciting. We are still fundraising though to enable the garden to be installed at Tyrwhitt House, the headquarters of Combat Stress. We need irrigation systems and the like to enable the garden to be looked after properly. So please if you know anyone who might be interested in contributing please click on the link in the post above.... Also come and see us. Hampton Court is a fantastic outing for the family, and we will be at the stand all week - I will be living on cups of tea, so if you see someone standing there with crossed legs it is probably me!!!
