    Hen Party Theme ideas

Ok, my little sis is getting married in May.
We're going to London to see Wicked and then dinner afterwards for her hen do.
There will be about 8-10 of us and I wanted to have a bit of a theme to it, and some ideas for dressing up.

The group age ranges from about 19 to my mum being the oldest at 50.
So far I've come up with where's wally? or witches (seeing as we're going to see wicked)
but have any of you got any other ideas.
We're not staying over in London as most of us can get there quite easily by train for a night out - but I'm concious of the fact that I will be travelling there on my own and really don't want to be dressed up in tiny bunny constume or burlesque on my own there and back and have all the wierdos gawping at me!!!

I was about to say witches! What about expanding the witches them to the Wizard of Oz, then you have the option of Dorothy, the Tin Man, Toto, or even the wizard and people can choose exactly how racy they want to make their costumes.

Done!!! WoZ theme, perfect, exactly, then the girls can be saucy witches (were there witches in it??!) or tin man etc or just dorothy, however, i thing Dorothy should be saved for your sister, the hen!!!!

Wicked is 'wicked' too, really good! you will have a fab time!

Well there was a very flat witch in it after the house landed on her teehee.

I am so jealous of all you people who have seen Wicked. I am dying to go but I just haven't had the time and the money at the same time yet!

I'm in agreement, Wicked is fantastic, dying to go see it again, although OH wasn't so keen! (the weirdo!)

The witches/wizard of oz theme for dressing up is fab too!

DEFO Wizard of Oz/Wicked theme, and the bride has to be Dorothy. Mother of the bride and maid of honour could be Glinda and Elphaba (the green one) and the other ladies could be lion, tin man, scarecrow, wizard, munchkin, Auntie Em, the twister, or even just dress all in green and be someone who lives in the Emerald City- but don't forget a flying monkey! there should be at least one flying monkey!

Depending on the amount of crazy you want to use, you could make sure the girls all have yellow chalk and chalk out where the bride goes (follow the yellow brick road!) and make that into some kind of game. have a stuffed toto and play games with that, too. And maybe do something with the ruby slippers.

could you set up a scavenger hunt? for the brain, heart, courage? and have the final destination, the Home, be the theatre to see Wicked? I've never done a hen night before but they always sound like amazing fun.

Enjoy Wicked, by the way! It's a new addition to my top 5 musical list, as as a Rogers and Hammersteins kinda girl that's a huge endorsement. It's fab. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll go home singing Defying Gravity.

Take some lollipops and spend all night in the bars trying to find Lollipop Kid lookalikes!!

Are you going by Limo? At the end of the night make sure she clicks her heels together and says "there is no place like home" before she gets in to go home!!

I'm SO with you on this... and there's no way I could ever drag my OH to see it! How far are you from London now, anyway? I absolutely HAVE to go see it before I pop in May, especially seeing as we'll be moving (to the gods alone know where) very soon after...
