    Hangover Cures

As I am currently suffering I was wondering if anyone has any special hangover cures.

Mine is currently getting worse by the minute, I woke up feeling fine, now I feel sick and my head is banging. Although my boss is having fun laughing at me......

Honey, lemon hot water and a pinch of salt, mix and then drink. My boss's suggestion last week.

My favourite Mcdonalds chips and a coke, not bottled or cans but the on tap type. Also a couple of painkillers for the headache.

A full fried breakfast, red bull then shedloads of water

Salt and vinegar squares and ribena. Irn bru if it's really serious.
I know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok. They know me here.

Irn Bru and lots of it. I'm not even Scottish and it works for me.

    Dioralyte is also quite good.

Basically, put as much fluid and salts back into your body as possible.

For me two nurofen, juice and something like crackers or bread *before* going to bed means no hangover....
If I have forgotten to do that - Lucozade...!
    McDonalds breakfast also works...!

Two Brufen, two Paracetamol, an industrial sized mug of tea (repeat as necessary), couple of fried egg banjos and finish it off with a medium sized bar of Dairy Milk.

An isotonic drink will work. If you haven't got one of them, lots of orange juice. Then a nice breakfast.

    Sex also works well too.

When I was young and out boozing nearly every night, I used to get off the train at Liverpool Street go straight to MaccyDees. Two sausage and egg mcmuffins and a large chocolate milkshake combined with walking briskly to Creed Lane off Ludgate Hill (normally walking time about 15 mins sober, 25 minutes hungover and a whopping 6 hours when drunk).

So, I vouch for the MaccyDee breakfast personally.

A couple of Resolve, as much fluid as you can drink without drowning yourself, and lots of carbs.

Glass of Coke (not from a can if poss, don't know why that makes a difference, but it does!)
Packet of salt & vinegar crisps (preferably something strong like Seabrooks!)
    Bar of chocolate.

Has me feeling human every time!

Irn bru, definately but I'd have to have a burger too but not a fastfood burger. It needs to be a fresh burger on a roll with salad. Oh and Irn Bru works better if it's out the tin rather than bottled

Tortilla chips, flat lucozade, and ice chips. My more extreme measures as a student including standing in the sea and walking 3miles up a Welsh hill in the rain. Mr d had a v bad hangover recently and after the pain killers didn't work I sent him up to bed with a liquorish tea and a few hrs later he was ok
All the cool kids have a signature but I have nothing witty or profound to say.
