Thread: Useless bloody gadgets

Just when I think I've seen it all THIS appears!!! People will see the 'hand hygiene' and buy this in their thousands without actually stopping and thinking about it!!

What's your favourite 'useless piece of crap'?

Poaching pods

Great thought (yes? )but the eggs just stick to them, you lose half the egg white, and tend to burn hands on boiling water even if using an implement to get them out of the pan.

I tried using silicon cupcake cases (brilliant things - I highly recommend them to everyone) and then when I saw poach pods, HAD to get them

Waste of cacking money. :evil:

I guess this classes as a gadget and is entirely useless! The most useless thing I've ever been asked to by someone anyway!

I have some very similar to these and actually find them great...you have to use spray oil in them before you put the eggs in and use a spoon to 'scoop'out the egg once its cooked!

I think my most useless gadget is the garlic peeler... I've peeled the garlic in the time it takes me to find the thing in the bloody drawer!
