less the small moan, compliant nature, face products, hair rollers, not hogging the toilet, the obey bit, the getting up before him and the kinky sex that's my usual routine, nothings changed much in my household.

A small moan for encouragement? So grunting " gerrof I'm knackered" is not acceptable then??

Hmm I'm not married and if I was and it would be expected of me my hubby would soon be in the shallow grave alongside Mr CK!
Heaven wont have me, hell is scared I'll take over. Time for the pub!

On the move this weekend. Not sure yet where I'm going or when I'll get there.....hope theres enough vodka in the car.

Hmm, there's no mention of 'obey' in a civil / registry office ceremony is there?

I am so tempted when I'm asked "do you... take... to be your husband?" to reply "yeah, go on then". Just to see the look on everyone's face.

I did the obey thing too. But it was obvious it was never going to actually happen. Husband thing keeps bringing it up bless him, but only when there's safety in numbers. There are certain times I obey though. Like when he tells me I really should buy that lovely handbag (well, I'm sure that's what he said).

I didn't obey. Didn't want start a precedent I couldn't stick too. Not such a natural on the rule following at the best of times. It's so funny and shocking and repressive! Thank God I wasn't born then - blimey. I could do with a wife myself - let alone picking up this mantle - I would be fired instantly and sent back to wife training school.
