I wanted to post a note about LegionLive (www.legionlive.org.uk), The Royal British Legion's major new online community.

LegionLive is a hub for Serving and ex-Armed Forces, their families and wider supporters. It’s free to join and members can easily set up blogs, groups and forums.

The community is driven by ‘Poppy’, a virtual character who generates content and spreads it through her own blog (http://legionlive.org.uk/blog) and across Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?...12498&ref=name), Twitter (http://twitter.com/PoppyLegion), Bebo (http://www.bebo.com/Profile20.jsp?Pa...opup=0&popup=0), YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/royalbritishlegion) and Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/poppylegion/).

It would be very much appreciated if members here could take a second to have a look at the community and Poppy's social media accounts; we want to raise as much awareness of the 2009 Poppy Appeal as possible!
