Thread: The 'Last Post' Game

Quite simple really folks!

All you have to do is think of a word (any word) and keep it to yourself. I'm doing it right now, cos I'm starting this off.

If clues are requested, they must be given in open play, and can be as cryptic as you like, although if they are too unbelievably cryptic, all other players have the right to call the originator and fines can follow - possibly small donations to the FSM (All Hail to His Noodly Appendage).

The idea is for anyone who feels like playing to guess at the word by placing it in context i.e. you can't simply list words at random. Each post must follow from the previous post, rather like telling a very long but incredibly surreal story.

Each post you make must end with the words 'Last Post'. Once the word appears in a player's post, the originator calls a halt, names the winner for that word, and the winner picks the next.

Properly played, this will go on for ever.

Simple, eh?

Perhaps you should have said 'Squeazy Cheesy Easy Peasy' but it's a pain if you spill it on yourself, and then you need a Kleenex or a tissue to wipe it off.

The smaller they are, eh? Sounds like something a bloke would come up with!

Perchance you speak of the dreaded 'family car' which is reputed to be getting smaller outside yet roomier and eversomuchmore spacious inside? I for one much prefer a bit of legroom, whether I'm on a bus, train, car, or simply walking about town in my shoes/boots/wellies.

Well I would say "bottom", but as that's only two syllables I know that's not it. I'll have to ponder this more as I listen to the radio and make a call on my telephone...

As I take a short spin through this board before popping out with Darthette for some lunch round at some chums', I notice that certain persons on this board are unable to follow the basic rules!
