Thread: need a place to share what's made you happy?

I had a great weekend.

Yes we didnt win the footie but it was a great atmosphere as usual at the Walkers Stadium.

We agreed not to spend much on each others bdays because of the wedding but my husband put so much thought into stuff which is so unlike him.

He baked me a carrot cake from scratch which is bloody lovely, he remember the earrings I liked, he bought me a book by my favourite author, he got my picture and a birthday mention in the match day program, he cooked me a lovely meal and he got my favourite wedding picture blown up and framed, really has been the best birthday although he wont be here for the actual day on Wednesday as he is working away this week.

Its my brithday! Hes not here but he got me a shout out on the local radio!

I am very Happy today as my brand spanking new tumble dryer has arrived (7:30am today 8O , think I may have frightened the delivery man Soots at that time of day is fairly scary!!!!!!).

Have not had a tumble dryer since May and I bought it with all my very own hard earned pennies (it was a matter of principal, we won't go there!!!!!)

My new job is difficult but awesome. Seem to be getting on not-too-badly with the kids as well.

I've not been getting on very well riding the Cavalry horses, so decided it would be better to stop riding altogether...seeing as I can't afford lessons let alone share a horse.
But today I went to see a lady about helping her out with stable chores in return for a FREE share...and she says I can start Wedsnesday!!! Whoppeeee! So happy, and the horse I'm to share looks a lot more sane than any of the Cavalry ones, even if he is the same size!
I also slept for 16 hours last night and have finally got rid of my cold/flu/evil virus that stole my voice earlier this week.

i spend 4 days with OH!!!
am happy happy happy................
just need to pack my bag now

You need to use a proxy site. They are sites which bypass your network internet and hide what you are looking at. A good one is www.goodtunnel.com or google 'proxy site' and they come up with a whole list of them. Some functions of facebook are disabled depending on which proxy site you use, but it's trial and error.

I know this because my work blocks EVERYTHING lol.

So you go onto the site and it will give you a search bar, type in www.facebook.com or whatever site you want and it takes you to it. Albeit more slowly than a broadband connection but takes you all the same.

I am glad RP is back, I had to post on ARRSE and everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the first time in a very long time I have got home and have absolutely nothing that i have to do this evening.. not a single thing. So i can do the things i actually want to do like have a very long bath and watch rubbish on the telly. HURRAH

I am managing to stick to my diet - and losing weight. It's a long road ahead but I'm fast getting into it.

AND I'm not hungry and haven't had to give up the vino. Joy of joys.

Finally starting to make proper friends round here. And the booze has stopped my throat hurting. Woo! I'd like Mr K back home now though please.
