I thought we could create a sister thread to the one "need a place to moan..."
-for all the small and big things that make us happy/smile/laugh and which we'd like to share but don't need a reply.
'Cause life can be great! and a little reminder every now and again can put one in a good/better mood.

Id like to say im having such a good day sun is shining got a few good tunes on the radio all my family (hubby & kids) will all be home in a few hours good days!!

I just saw a sikh bloke walking through Portswood wearing a t-shirt that said "Fight Terrorism - only smoke homegrown" with a big hash leaf...made me smile

Nice. I did find it alittle troubling that the largest most frequently used thread is the 'need a place to moan' one!

Here's mine...

On my lunch break today I sat in the park (in a wide open space I might add) and on one side of me there was a couple having a huge public shouting match and on the other side of me there was a couple having sex in full view. (I think they must have thought they were being subtle by keeping fully clothed but it was pretty obvious what was going on.) Anyway the bizarreness / audacity of the situation has been making me chuckle to myself all afternoon!

whats made me happy today....
a girl in the work's canteen bought me some chocolates today to say thanks for helping her out last week. awwh bless!!!!

Am happy today. Last week at work before zipping off on holiday with the hubs and kids for 3 whole weeks! Escaping at last yippeee!!!!

For some reason i have a warm, slushy loved up feeling today.

My bratlings make me happy every day (apart from the teenager type, but its in her job description to try and make me sad, compared to me at that age she is an amateur and that also makes me happy)

I'm happy coz I've FINALLY booked a holiday and also coz I have my OH's r+r dates at last - so I finally have an end in sight to when I get to see him next!!
Oh, and I spent all day yesterday drinking which made me happy yesterday but less so this morning!

I'm happy because it's my first summer ball with the OH on friday, got gown sorted, shoes sorted and have even had a practise run of my hair do!!

Very excited !!!!

I'm happy because I'm moving on friday into an awesome house with 2 fantastic girls. And it's my birthday on friday too!!

I'm happy because I went to the Japanese store in London yesterday for the first time with a co-worker who's from my hometown (about twenty minutes away!) and knows good Japantown food...I bought ingredients and made chicken and seafood somen for the first time, literally, in years. Heaven.

Final score: one happy Tankie and years of noodle dishes ahead. :-)

My brothers baby girl was born last night at 7 with a emergency C-section, but all is well with baby & mom. She is sooooo cute

Im happy coz i have plans for the whole of the week =]
