Shhhhh..... Dont tell him, but I can get my paws on our new motor tomorrow and planning to pick my OH up once he's granted leave. Might have to park it in the busiest car park in the area so he doesn't notice and spin him a yarn about someone buying it....

    Yeah, me

    Sorry, I'm hogging the thread

After years and years of being told I have varying degees of hypertension, going on tablets and not getting to the root of it, I now have a GP who specialises in the condition.

Low and behold after two consultations and monitoring at home over a couple of weeks he concludes I don't have it at all, just White Coat Syndrome!

How great do I feel this morning

You and me both WR, I've had a fantastic week. Found a bargain jacket which was reduced from £220 to £40, got a cheque from my granny for doing well at uni (bless her, how sweet is that?!), Mr Land has got in touch after a month of no comms and is doing fine, and now got an interview for my dream job next week, despite having two more assignments and a presentation chucked at me from uni! I'm well happy! Be the icing on the cake if England win this weekend!

At last a vet who knows what he's doing. Also rather easy on the eye!

You'll get mixed up, of course, as you already know. You'll get mixed up with many strange birds as you go. So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Life's a Great Balancing Act. Just never forget to be dextrous and deft. And never mix up your right foot with your left.

Over a month and we're both still alive and the flats are still standing.....

More interesting a chat with a nice man from another area of camp which might lead to some extra pennies on a long term basis.

Perved at Sea Darts, was looked after by a very nice PO and a rather cute Marine, the sun was shining and England beat the French in the Rugby
