    Online shopping

grrrrrrhhhhhh! need to have a rant today! just spent an age trawling through amazon to find books, dvds etc for my son for xmas. WOW, I thought to myself, what great savings Im making!! That was until I got to checkout and they were goign to charge me more for postage than I was actually spending on the presents Stuff that I thought I'll go elsewhere - then they wanted to charge me £10 for delivering to the largest city in the Highlands . Infuriates me - we dont live in outer mongolia!!

Rant over!! Suppose I'll have to get off my backside and go shopping on my 2 feet instead!!

I've found the same with Amazon, the fact the Kindle cost about 15 paper back book delivery charges wasn't lost on me when the decision was made to buy them.

I ordered some hoodies fro my OH from superdry as it was free shipping. Feckers then charged me £18 for delivery! And they still haven't refunded it as they said they would!

Delivery charges are shocking. I kind of understand it when you buy something from the States (although WWE annoy me with their rates - why should I pay more for postage than I do for the t-shirt?) but there is absolutely no reason for extortionate delivery charges over here.

Tough shit, that is what you get for knowing people in Jockland.

Get off your arse and go shopping on your own 2 feet you say? In order to manage the first you will need a block and tackle and a good winch. I doubt you have seen your own feet in many a year except when you slide your fat sodden thighs across the foot well of your shopmobility electric scooter.

Best wishes for the festive season
