    'Go the F**k to sleep'

I want this book, with Samuel L. Jackson as a freebie - think I can get it?

    So funny
People sleep peacefully in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on there behalf

Thought it was effing hilarious - saw someone on another forum who was outraged about it...ffs. Some people have no sense of bloody humour!

Oh I love this. My sister emailed me the link a few months ago when it was doing the fb rounds. It was right in the middle of the worst period of non-sleeping the youngest has ever had and it just hit every single button.

or just don't have a monitor, can't hear it then! I didn't bother with the 2nd, and it was usually switched off with the 1st. I could hear them when they cried so didnt' see the need.

I'm just a bad mother because I sleep so deep that I barely hear them WITH the monitor. Usually DH hears them first and sorts it out...a fine arrangement as far as I'm concerned!

It's always been me that's got up cos OH is a deep sleeper (or so he says) and I've always had the knack of being able to go straight back to sleep again. Have lost that in the last few weeks though (am blaming the pregnancy and all the worries floating around in my head) which sucks absolute donkey balls.

I usually hear them through the night and am the first to get up to them, then after about 5am its hubby's duty and I don't even hear them all get up for breakfast!!!
Squirrel, I hope you don't think I was having a go about you using a monitor, I'm such a laid back mum that I just didn't feel the need for one and it worked for us, but I know others have their own reasons for using them.

Don't worry - I would love not to use one cos they're annoying! Especially when next door have theirs on too. I don't need it when I'm upstairs but if I'm downstairs watching TV with the door closed I don't have a hope of hearing little dude if he needs me until he's screaming blue murder at which point it takes hours to calm him down again.
