    30 Day Shred

I've had the lovely/mental Jillian on my TV every morning this week and I HURT!!!

Has anyone tried the 30 Day Shred before and will I actually see any difference? Like I said, I'm sore but i don't see how much good I can do in 20 mins/day....

I had to google this and found a thread about it on Netmums, and it looks really good. Found the DVD on Amazon for a fiver with free delivery, so that is going on my Mummy's Xmas List.

(does anyone remember doing Kathy Smith workout videos in the 80s and 90s? I still have one of her videos and it is amazing although I don't think I could do it now)...

20 mins a day, every day for 30 days - been there done it, saw the difference.

I'd measure yourself now, do it after 30 mins, you do see a difference, if I knew where I'd put the DVD when I came back from Australia, I'd still be doing it, I didn't do it for weight loss, exercise alone doesn't do that, but for toning etc it definitely worked for me.
Nothing to see here, move on by....

I did it before I decided to go and get pregnant. I hurt so badly (couldn't do stairs the day after my first go) but I noticed I was a lot more toned very quickly. Didn't notice any particular weight loss but I only did it for a couple of weeks before OH came home for summer leave and the toning was my main reason for doing it. I do know a couple of people who have lost weight with it though - the key is persistence.

One word of warning - I did find it very hard on my knees but I think that might have been cos I didn't have proper trainers on.

I've done it a few times, not for weight loss as I'm 5'10 and slim so really don't need to be loosing weight. But found it great for toning up. I definitely agree with measuring yourself before, rather than weighing yourself. You will most likely see more of a difference in size than in weight, if that makes sense. I lost 5 inches all together in the first 6 days of ever doing it, it definitely works.

I have never managed to keep it up for 30 days solid though!

I do it quite regularly and it really does work, you first notice the difference after about 5 days or so. The first time I did it OH was away for 3 months so I was able to stick to it religiously and I dropped over a stone combining it with sensible eating.

Guess who's back in to her skinny jeans?! You're all right - it's fab and totally worth it. Shame you can't do it for 30 days and keep the matching body for life but I reckon I'll be sticking with this one.
