    Makeup for bedtime

    SERIOUSLY??

Now I don't know about the rest of you, but its enough bloody effort to put it on in the daytime...and bloody bliss to scrape it off at night!! Would you?? Really??

No, not for me, that said I have slept in my makeup many a night, not because I am vain, but because I've been too drunk to take it off. A couple of times, I've actually looked ok in the morning, so left it on.............

So you're going to clean it off before putting on your day stuff? Or leave it on and just put on more and more everyday??

I barely wear make-up normally so I very much doubt this is something I'd spend out on

I always thought the point of normal Bare Minerals was that it didn't matter if you left it on overnight occasionally as it was 'breathable'...

I dont think thats a good idea at all...if someone wears it at night because theyre insecure about their appearance, then they'll just start depending on the stuff..and surely thats not good.

Whats the world coming to :/

Sod that! What a load of effort! It's all I can do to brush my hair in the mornings I quite like taking my make up off as soon as the kids are in bed, and spending the night a minger, before getting up in the morning and making myself look slightly less minger-ish.

HA I only wear make up when I know there will be lots of cameras taking pictures (ie weddings and maybe nights out) so unless Mr D develops an urge to photograph me in my sleep no ways!

For the love of god who comes up with these ideas! Why on earth would you want to sleep with your face plastered in shoite! I can't be bothered 99.9% of the time, so the thought of putting slap on to go to bed hurts my brain!

    Make up? What's that?

I smell desperate marketing. Some vain so and so will buy it.

Christ, whats the point? unless you don't turn over surely it will smudge onto your pillows?? my pillow was multicoloured in the morning after fogetting to take mine off once... let alone the fact that I looked like I had Anthrax with an outbreak of spots I had, from not letting my skin breathe

Not a chance! I take mine off when I get in from work and it feels like bliss to get it off after wearing it all day so there is no way I would put it back on again!

Gods - I don't even bother with makeup during the day! Only put it on for a night out, occasionally, though to be honest it has stayed on all night after a night on the piss, and just been vaguely 'neatened up' for work the next day!

I dont wear makeup For bed I'm just a lazy so and so who doesnt take it off, wash my face in shower but that's about it lol !! I wear makeup for bed if me and mr blonde are having rude time, sexy underwear can't be worn looking half haggard !! As for putting it on to go to sleep, pointless as soon as you hit the pillow it starts to rub off, waste of money !!

The very rare times I actually do wear make up, which is usually just some eyeliner and mascara anyway, it alwasy stays on overnight. Not because I'm vain, not always because I'm drunk, always because I'm lazy!

A few years back I'd have bought it! I used to be one of these people who literally couldn't even walk to the shop without make up on. Now the only time I even bother is if we've got guests or we're going somewhere (or if i feel like total shite and need a boost). At the moment i'm only getting up for the school run then looking after a toddler all day. Mr Tree has seen me at my best and worst so it's not going to bother him if i'm not covered in slap when he comes home for lunch so what's the point.

I have never really been one for make up, ever. Probably wore more at school than I have since. This is just another crap product for insecure people.

I was the same. Never went out without my 'face on', there again I was insanely unhappy so maybe that all ties in?. I'm happy now and can go for periods not wearing make up and not give a rats ass.

I do like to have make up on for when G gets home and make sure my hair doesn't smell like yesterdays cooking and he thinks its cute that I've made the effort but doesn't bat an eyelid if I don't, infact I've just realised he tends to say 'You're beautiful' when I am looking like Zelda from the Terror Hawks on a morning and I'm waiting for the creases of a good nights sleep to straighten out

I don't think it's so healthy for your skin to wear makeup overnight. Of course everyone does it now and then after a late night. But every night? What's the point? Your OH is suppose to love the real you, I can't imagine putting on makeup to go to bed- he would think I was nuts. But I do have a friend whose boyfriend has never seen her with out makeup, I can never really understand it.
