Thread: sorry another question... moving in two weeks to Fallingbostel!!

Please can someone let me know if we can plug our UK sky box into the aerial point in Fallingbostel flats... We only need to use it for the Freeview channels.. will it work?? Thanks.

In all honesty I don't know. If you can't though REAL do a set top box for about €30 which gives you UK channels once you have searched them out.

no you can't, but if you can get a sky dish put up you can get all the British Channels through it, just an hours later than the UK.
We had a sky subscription registered to my Grandma's address in the UK and got all the channels no problem.

ok, thank you. My Husband is nightmare with technology so I am trying to organise it all before I arrive in two weeks.. eeekkk!

ask around whenyou get there, there might be a handy man that will put a dish up for you. If you've got 1 in your current house take it with you. Luckily my hubby is royal signals so he was able to put ours up and sort it all out!!
Also, rather than drilling through the wall for the cables, you can buy these flat connectors that you put in the opening of the window, and still be abl to close the window.
