I'm not far away from there - on the Heidemark estate which is opposite Netto. One thing I did think - make sure you find out about health care etc before you move because you won't be entitled to health care from the Med Centre and Dentist on camp. At the very least you will need an E111 card but not sure whether that entitles you to more than emergency/basic health care. I know in Cyprus non-marrieds had to get health insurance though.

Really? I wasn't a dependant working at the Naafi and I went to the med centre! I got inhalers for my asthma and everything. I never went to the dentist on camp though so I wouldn't know about that. Unless it's changed since? This was about 4 years ago.

I was unlucky enough to have to go into hospital when I was in Fally, and although I had an E111 card I had to go into Walsrode to a medical place and arrange for another card of some type (it was over 3 years ago so i've completely forgotten, sorry!) and all my medical treatment was paid for. I got a bill for the ambulance alone and that was €265!! If you work for the Naafi, they explain it all and help you through

Fally Fox, Tartymuffin, one of my friends has just come back from Germany and he husbadn collapsed out there all she had was an E111 which covered her medical costs but she had to pay for the ambulance so fingers crossed i wont need an ambulance and i shud be ok, stocked up on my contraceptive pill so shouldnt realli need much else!

Allergic to aspirin and paracetamol so cant realli take anything if im ill anyway lol
