Hello to all,
My name is John Evans and I am a Director of a Company called Forces Resources Limited, allow me to tell you about what we do.
We are a company set up to deliver items to BFPO addresses. We:
- Are able to deduct VAT from most orders.
- Deliver items from companies that don't deliver to BFPO addresses such as Argos.
- Deliver large items such as beds and other furniture.
- Deliver heavy items such as washing machines and dish washers.
- Deliver to your work or home address.
- Guarantee delivery.
- Sell National Lottery tickets to BFPO users.
If you simply want a small item but the shop won't deliver it to you then we can act as a forwarding service sending the item/order onto you at your normal BFPO address.
Here's how it normally works.
[list=1][*]You log onto our site.[*]Enter the details of the order and who you want to order it from.[*]You pay us via PayPal (No PayPal account required)[*]We order it for you, pay for your order and it is delivered to us.[*]We deliver it to you[/list
]
Simplicity itself!
Timelines
We will begin delivering to Germany, Holland and Belgium in March and in Cyprus shortly after. However, I advise you to register soon so that we can keep you informed about updates and we can tell you as soon as the service goes live.
I thank you all for taking the time to read this and hope to see you on the delivery runs in the future.
If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me by any of the methods below:

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery company
Sounds great - just a few questions from me though!
Whats the extra cost for the service you provide?
Do you have a guesstimate as to how long it would take to deliver stuff to Germany?

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery comp
Hi Sluice,
The cost is dependant on what deals I can strike up with the different companies. If I can get a company to really get behind this and give discounts or pay for the delivery to our depot then that will subsidise the delivery costs.
Alternatively, if it is easier to collect from the companies main depot/warehouse then that too will save the companies that we order from charging us delivery and so we can pass the savings onto you.
At present, delivery is expected to be between £7.50 and £15 in total and in the odd case when the item is too large or heavy for 1 person the delivery may be about £20, but this is not an unusual delivery charge.
We plan on delivering to Europe every week.
The plan is that once all the weeks orders have arrived over the week, our transport will set off on Friday night and deliveries will be over the weekend. So once an order has been placed, as long as it arrives at our depot before close of business on Friday, it will be delivered over that weekend.
I hope this helps and I will post updates as they become available.

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery company
Sounds pretty reasonable to me! Guess you will take contact numbers off people so they don't have to sit in all day waiting for deliveries (or am I pushing my luck now?)

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery comp
When an order is placed we will ensure that we have a valid contact number for the account. We will then inform them of an approximate time of delivery and make other arrangements if it is not convenient.
We will also call you if we are going to be early or late instead of you waiting around.
We will be moving to weekday deliveries further down the line and then you will be able to choose a delivery timeframe, 18:00 - 21:00 for example.
Either way, we will try to give you as much notice as possible because we all know how important weekends are.

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery company
Funnily enough, the uniforms and vehicle signs are on their way and then it's the photo shoot and posters will be going out to all barracks in BFG to let everyone know about the service.
Thanks again,
John

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery comp
Hi Everyone,
This is just a quick update to let you all know that we are now taking orders from Argos, PC World and Halfords to be delivered week commencing 10th March. Our lottery service is also up and running for the Wednesday and Saturday Lotto Draws.
If anybody would like an Argos catalogue they can be requested through our site (link below).
Due to a significant number of posted catalogues not reaching their destination through the standard system I will be up and down the country over the next weeks or so delivering them personally.
If you would like one for your home, the best option is to request one through our site (again, there is a link below). I will also be dropping catalogues off at various public places so if you know of any Hairdressers / Medical Centres etc that would require an amount of them for their customers to take or look through then let me know and I drop some off.
As before if you have any questions then please don't hesitate to contact me.

As soon as I get them, I will get them distributed as soon as I get them.
Thanks again.

Hi Legs,
I am really sorry about the delay but everytime I have catalogues they disappear before I can get them up to you. I Promise that you will have your catalogue tomorrow. I am going back to the UK tomorrow night and I will be visiting your area tomorrow daytime.
I am so sorry again for the inconvenience.

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery comp
Just wanted to ask if there is any update on the prospect of a delivery service to Cyprus. At present we can use the argos shop here but if the price is 20 english pound for the goods we have to pay 20 cyprus pound, the equivalent in euros now and on top of that we have to pay 15% for delivery. Furniture here is very expensive and it would be so nice to be able to get my oak dining table with leather chairs!!!

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery company
Hi Andrea
I will be moving back to the UK next week and will begin looking at deliveries to Cyprus around the middle of April once I have all the other essentials sorted.
I hope this answers your question and if you have any more then please don't hesitate to contact me.

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery comp
Hi Sluice
Sorry to take so long to reply but I have been really busy lately.
Things are going OK, the orders aren't exactly coming in as often as I'd like but with no advertising anywhere it is just down to word of mouth. although the word of mouth is good (infact most of my orders are for repeat customers) it may take a while.
I have now been on a few established runs to BFG and I am looking at delivering more often than I currently do.
If anybody out there is having problems with the website will they please let me know so that I can try and fix them? There seem to be a few issues but nobody contacts me and so they never get fixed as I don't know about them.
In general things are good. I am taking on more courier work for the civilian population in order to pay the bills until the BFPO delivery side of things really pick up.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has shown an interest in the company and give you all my word that I will not stop campaigning for the rights of the BFPO user as I have spent 5 years out there and I know what it is like to be forgotten about by the rest of the UK.
Thanks again
John

Re: Forces Resources Ltd: The new BFPO Courier/Delivery company
Hiya,
Busy trying to spread the word up here, fingers crossed you might get an order from a colleague of mine in the next few days!
I'll keep giving you regular BUMP's on here so the word gets around!
